A newly launched capsule collection between Garret Leight California Optical and Birdwell Beach Britches, celebrates the shared California roots of both brands.
Inspired by a late ‘60s surf and skate era, the capsule collab emphasizes an “endless summer” with the introduction of bold wayfarer shaped frames, board shorts, jacket and T-shirt. The “Troubador” shades are comprised of G15 mineral glass lenses and a warm translucent colorway.
Additionally, the “311” navy board shorts and matching “Competition” jacket pair well with the logo branded “GLCO x Birdwell” short sleeve and long sleeve tees.
The joint venture tapped local artist John Antoski to harness the California spirt of cool, whose creative designs round out the capsule with a 5-panel hat and interchangeable velcro patches – for customizable personalization.
Capsule items can be purchased on the Birdwell and GLCO websites, at GLCO retailers and other select stores.
