Vanessa Feltz debuted her new ‘do on Instagram after taking a trip to the hairdressers.
The newly-single This Morning star took to Instagram on Thursday, 9 February, to share a snap of herself in the salon as she called for the stylist to “fix the hair!”.
While going through an undeniably difficult time of late following the breakdown of her relationship from former fiance Ben Ofoedu, Venessa, 60, appeared to be her usual smiley self in the salon mirror selfie.
She also shared a clip of her at the salon where she said to the camera: “Morning. I’m at the hairdresser and what I always think is, when all else fails, just get that barnet fixed – and that’s what I’m doing.”
Ahead of her TalkTV presenting duties, Vanessa went on to debut her new, luscious blonde locks on her Instagram Story.
While Vanessa appeared in good spirits on her outing, just yesterday, Wednesday 8 February, the 60 year oldopened up about the humiliation she feels following her break-up from Ben.
Speaking candidly to This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Vanessa said: “I think I'm feeling just like anyone else would after the end of a 16 year relationship, which I had my heart and soul in.
"I believed wholeheartedly in it and so when you have to end a relationship, it is very hard. I'm feeling it just like anybody else."
Vanessa admitted she "can't sleep at all" but was grateful for everyone's support and messages, which she reads in the "middle of the night".
The star, who said being heartbroken is "horrible", admitted: "People have been amazing, absolutely amazing, and of course it helps a lot as I can't sleep at all so reading thousands and thousands of messages from lovely people on Instagram is something to do in the middle of the night.
"I'm really finding my real friends, my real family, people I don't know."
Vanessa and Ben first met in 2005 at an OK! Christmas party, with the musician going on to pop the question a year later.
Recalling his first impression of Vanessa, Ben said of the TV star in an interview with us last year: “My first impression of you Feltzy was cheeky, very very cheeky and very very quick-witted.
“Apart from being beautiful and me actually fancying you, I just thought, 'Wow, I've got to stay on my toes here!' because you had an answer for absolutely everything. I think [I was] slightly intimidated, because I knew you were so quick-witted."
The pair were expected to wed on a handful of occasions, but never made it down the aisle.
