Kimberly Alexander, who believes that the Canadian basketballer is the father of her child, posts a side-by-side photo of the athlete and her son, and defends herself, ‘I’m not crazy.’
AceShowbiz -Kimberly Alexander, a woman who claims that Tristan Thompson fathered her child, refuses to be silenced despite having been slapped with a cease and desist letter. She continues to stir up the paternity drama with her social media activities.
On Friday, May 22, Kimberly posted on Instagram Stories a side-by-side photo of the NBA star and her 5-year-old son, seemingly to point out the resemblance between the two and to back up her claim. In the next post, she defended herself against the doubters as writing, “There y’all go now leave me alone!!! I’m not crazy [a yawning emoji].”
Kimberly came out earlier this month with the allegations that Tristan is the father of her child. While he already took a DNA test that proved he’s not the father, she accused him of fabricating the result. She also claimed that the Canadian athlete’s ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian helped him cover up his dirt.
Tristan, through his attorney Marty Singer, sent her a cease and desist letter, but instead of refraining herself from talking about it in public, Kimberly fired back on social media. She claimed that the 29-year-old hunk was lying about the timeline of their relationship, after he allegedly described their relationship as a one-night stand that took place around 2011/2012, years before her child was born.
Tristan has later sued her for libel, claiming Kimberly has “maliciously accused” the pro basketballer of being “a deadbeat dad” while the DNA test result has proven he’s not the father of her child. According to the suit, the Canadian athlete offered to take a second DNA paternity test by an AABB-accredited lab believing that they would yield the same results, but Kimberly refused and insisted on a third-party option that was not trusted by his team.
The complaint additionally alleged that Kimberly only went public with the allegation now when the child is 5 years old because she’s fallen on hard times. She reportedly has had financial problems over the past several years, and has been evicted from at least five different residences within the past seven years, one as recent as July 2019.
