Another video, which saw him fail at the challenge, has so far clocked up over 105.6 million views on TikTok.

Bayashi finally succeeded by heating up a thin metal rod and using it to cut around the star shape at the centre of his cookie.

After retrieving the intact star from the centre of his cookie, he proudly held it up for the camera, before devouring it.

Squid Game follows hundreds of cash-strapped individuals who are recruited for a Hunger Games-style tournament.

While the tournament appears innocent at first, with popular childrens’ games at the centre of many of the challenge, they quickly prove to be deadly.

Whoever wins the lethal games will score a 45.6 million cash prize, but first they must survive.
