The Real Reason Meghan Markle Reportedly ‘Hissed’ At A Staffer

Meghan Markle has been accused of “hissing” at a staffer, according to Page Six. The incident, which allegedly happened back in 2018 during a royal tour to Fiji, was recalled by Rebecca English, royal correspondent for the Daily Mail, in early March 2021. This is just one of the several “bombshell” reports that have hit the internet that paint the Duchess of Sussex in a negative light. Stories like this one are just some examples that may explain why Meghan and her husband Prince Harry chose to sit down with Oprah Winfrey for a two-hour interview that is set to air on March 7, 2021 on CBS. It’s easy to see why Meghan would want to tell her side of what’s transpired in her life over the past couple of years.

“I was there at the time and witnessed Meghan turn [and] ‘hiss’ at a member of her entourage, clearly incandescent with rage about something, and demand to leave,” English wrote in the Daily Mail. “I later saw that same — female — highly distressed member of staff sitting in an official car, with tears running down her face. Our eyes met and she lowered hers, humiliation etched on her features,” she added, linking the two events together.

The palace is investigating the Meghan Markle bullying claims

Meghan Markle has been accused of bullying staffers, and among the reported accusers is one of her former closest advisers, according to The Times. Buckingham Palace released a statement saying that they’re “very concerned” and added that they planned to launch an investigation to look deeper into the accusations made against Meghan. “Our HR team will look into the circumstances outlined in the article. Members of staff involved at the time, including those who have left the Household, will be invited to participate to see if lessons can be learned,” the statement went on.

Meanwhile, Meghan released a statement of her own, which was obtained by People magazine. Meghan is “saddened” by what her spokesperson called an “attack on her character.” The statement went on to say that the Duchess of Sussex “will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”

Meghan Markle is expected to address these claims during her interview with Oprah.
