Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas ‘extremely excited’ to become parents

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are said to be ‘extremely excited’ about becoming parents as they reportedly expect their first child.

It was revealed this week that the Game of Thrones actress is pregnant less than a year after she tied the knot with the Jonas Brothers singer.

Although the happy couple are yet to personally address the news, sources say Sophie and Joe couldn’t be more thrilled about starting a family.

An insider told E! News: ‘They told their families recently and everyone is ecstatic and so happy for them.’

They added that while it’s still ‘early’ days for Sophie’s pregnancy, she and Joe are ‘extremely excited’ about what’s to come.

Reps for the couple declined to comment yesterday but other sources said they are keen to ‘keep things very hush hush’.

The insider also told Just Jared: ‘Sophie has decidedly been choosing outfits to wear on and off the carpet to accommodate her changing body.’

It’s been a whirlwind year for Sophie and Joe, who first married in a surprise Las Vegas wedding last May.

The pair had attended the Billboard Music Awards earlier in the evening before heading over to a chapel to tie the knot with an Elvis impersonator officiating the nuptials.

However many of their loved ones weren’t in attendance so Sophie and Joe held their official wedding ceremony in France last June.

Sophie, 23, walked down the aisle wearing a stunning Louis Vuitton wedding dress while the couple said their vows in front of Joe’s brothers Nick and Kevin, sisters-in-law Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas, and Sophie’s former Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams.

It’s safe to say, married life is treating Sophie well as she recently opened up about how she feels settled in life since, well, settling down with Joe.

‘I think for the longest time I didn’t have a real sense of myself,’ Sophie told Glamour last year.

‘A lot of [my happiness now] is to do with being with a person I’ve fallen in love with, who loves me more than he loves himself, and who wants to see me find my own happiness. That was probably the biggest thing that pushed me to find who I am—and find my happiness in things other than acting.’

Sophie and Joe began dating in 2016 and he proposed the following October.
