Sam Hunt‘s Southside summer tour has been cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic.
Hunt’s tour, which was named after his album Southside, was scheduled to kick off on July 10 and run through October.
Travis Denning, who was set to open during the tour, described the cancellation as “an absolute bummer.”
“The day I got the call we were on the Sam Hunt tour was one I’ll never forget,” the country music singer and songwriter wrote on Twitter. “I know it’s for the best, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t upset we won’t be singing country music all summer.”
Denning added, “I was so excited to play these new songs. Excited to tear up the country with my band and crew, and excited to write another chapter in this crazy life I’m lucky to live.”
