Quiet Riot Drummer Frankie Banali Admitted To Emergency Room

Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali was admitted to the emergency room to obtain treatment for stage-4 pancreatic cancer.

The musician revealed news of his diagnosis to the public in April 2019, and has since continued to share his experiences with the disease, including praise of his wife, Regina, who is helping him to manage and administer his medications; “BLESSED TO HAVE HER IN MY LIFE! LOVE ALWAYS,” he shared on Facebook.

In a more recent post, he revealed that he has been admitted to the emergency room in a Los Angeles hospital, at which he was being treated; “It occurred to me that this is just like Disneyland except the lines are shorter & the rides are painfully slow… And the price of admission… OMG!” he wrote, alongside a picture of himself taken at the hospital.

Fans of the band have donated more than $40,000 through the drummer’s GoFundMe campaign, which was started by his friends to fund his treatments.

Meanwhile, Quiet Riot recently revealed plans to play a 4th of July concert in Arkansas, adhering to social distancing guidelines.
