Lashana Lynch is going to be the newest 007, according to a new report from The Mail on Sunday (July 14).

The 31-year-old British actress will be introduced as the newest agent in the upcoming 25th installment of the James Bond series which is currently being filmed, according to the report.

The report claims that Daniel Craig will still play James Bond, and that in a “pivotal scene,” Bond is called back from retirement and introduced to Lashana as the new 007 in a “popcorn-dropping moment.”

“Bond, of course, is sexually attracted to the new female 007 and tries his usual seduction tricks, but is baffled when they don’t work on a brilliant, young black woman who basically rolls her eyes at him and has no interest in jumping into his bed. Well, certainly not at the beginning,” the source claims.
