Lacey Turner’s snaps of baby Dusty meeting co star James Bye’s young son

EastEnders actress Lacey Turner has introduced her two month old baby Dusty to co star James Bye's son, in a beautiful moment considering both couples had overcome heartbreaking fertility issues to have their babies.

James' wife Victoria gave birth to little Hugo back in February, while Lacey had Dusty in July.

While pals Lacey, 31, and James, 35, play married couple Stacey and Martin Fowler on the BBC soap, it seems their babies got on like a house on fire too.

Lacey shared snaps on her Instagram of the two tots giggling to each other, with the sweet caption: "Did we just become best friends?"

She also posted a pic of the pair of them both beaming and holding each others' babies, who are fashionably co ordinated in matching orange outfits.

James' wife, actress Victoria Bye, also cradled Lacey's daughter Dusty, in a post which Lacey captioned: "Girl power".

The fact that both couples had struggled with having their babies made the tender moment even more poignant.

Hugo is James and Victoria's third child – the couple struggled to have another baby as Victoria suffers from endometriosis.

Dusty is Lacey's first child, having suffered two tragic miscarriages before with husband Matt Kay.

Stacey and Martin have been away from EastEnders after their characters fled from Albert Square because she hit Phil Mitchell over the head with a wrench, leaving him in a coma.

Stacey will be returning to the soap briefly in a scene Lacey shot before going on maternity leave, regarding her on screen mother Jean's cancer treatment.

Lacey recently jetted Dusty off on her first ever holiday to Singapore with several other family members.

Barber Matt proposed to Lacey in Venice in 2016. They had been together since they were just 15.

Before the wedding, they broke with tradition and spent the night together.

Lacey revealed to OK! magazine : "We ended up staying together the night before our wedding at the villa.

"Originally Matt was going to stay with his mum down the road but we thought that, as we hadn't done much that was traditional, we might as well just stay together!

"It felt special to wake up on the morning of our wedding day together. I probably wouldn't have slept as well anyway if I didn't have Matt there."
