Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick has dropped a never-before-seen video of the iconic band performing a cover of The Who‘s classic “Won’t Get Fooled Again” live.
“The KISS Asylum Tour began on November 29th, 1985 – 35 years ago. Here’s my recap of the tour, which includes a rare, never-seen-before performance. ‘Who’ doesn’t like something rare to enjoy from KISSTORY!” Kulick said as he shared the cover to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the tour.
KISS’ Asylum tour kicked off on November 29, 1985 at the Barton Coliseum in Little Rock, Arkansas. The tour featured the band performing the Pete Townshend-penned 1971 hit as part of the playlist.
Kulick noted that the Asylum tour was one of the only Kiss stage shows that wasn’t professionally filmed. However, Kulick and editor Michael Edwards were able to combine fan-shot footage with audio from one of the soundboard tapes.
Meanwhile, Kulick will team up with Todd Kerns for a special unplugged performance at KISSmas Masquerade event on December 18th and 19th in Sarasota, Florida. The event will be streamed for fans around the world.
The special event will also feature appearances from Jean Beauvoir, Rick Derringer, The Talismen, Enuff Z’Nuff, Kurt Frohlich, Gary Schutt, and more.
