TV star Helen Skelton is currently fronting This Week On The Farm, with airs this evening. The presenter was chatting to two farmers from South Yorkshire with her co-host Jules Hudson via a video link, when she jokingly had to remind them it was a family show.
Farmers Rob and Dave were talking to the show’s hosts from Cannon Hall Farm where they both work.
The pair told the viewers at home that they had been really busy this month with lots to do.
Their endless list of jobs included: “Sheep to shear, hay to make and lambs to vaccinate.”
Jules then asked them how the new season affects their workload on the farm, as spring turns to summer.
“We’ve always got a lot of work to do on the farm, but at least in the summer you can get your shirt off, and you can soak in those rays,” said one of the farmers.
“I’m keeping my skirt on, thank you,” interjected the other guest.
To which Helen added: “Can you all keep them on please, it’s a family show.”
- Helen Skelton explains major filming disruption
Just yesterday, Helen gave her Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes peak as she filmed scenes for the farming show.
The mum-of-two, who lives with her husband Richie Myler and their two children Ernie, four, and Louis, three, documented her struggle to find a quiet place in her garden to film the links.
Speaking directly to her 187,000 followers, she said: “I thought I’d do nice, lovely, quiet links from my garden until my husband started erecting massive scaffolding.”
“That banging, is the sound of my husband building a hog roast in what is meant to be my office.”
