Cherie Currie Shares To Digital Release ‘Blvds Of Splendor’

Former Runaways singer Cherie Currie has announced plans to digitally release her solo album Blvds of Splendor on April 28 via Joan Jett‘s Blackheart Records.

The digital version includes three bonus tracks. The album had previously dropped on a vinyl-only release for Record Store Day last year.

The album features guest appearances by Billy Corgan, Guns N’ RosesSlash, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, Juliette Lewis and Brody Dalle, among others.

Currie was planning to release the LP in 2016, but met with an accident during a chainsaw carving, sustaining partial facial paralysis and severe head trauma.

“I’ve never had so much fun making a record before. We all looked at each other and went, ‘Oh my God, there’s magic happening here,'” Currie said in a statement.
