Details continue to unfold regarding the tragic passing of Cameron Boyce, who sadly died at the age of 20 on Saturday morning (June 6).

The Descendants actor suffered from epilepsy for some time before the seizure related to the illness took his life, according to a new report from The Blast on Monday (July 8).

He reportedly had a history of epileptic seizures, which investigators learned following his sudden death.

Despite a seizure likely being the cause, an autopsy is still scheduled – including a full toxicology report and blood test – for the late Disney star due to his young age, according to the report.

The results can take up to several weeks to determine the official cause.
